In addition to the artists-in-residence program through the open call we are offering the possibility of co-funded stays.
What we can provide:
- accommodation including a single bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and bathroom at the venue
- technical support for the multichannel system
- access to
– a vast variety of audio equipment
– a second multichannel studio equipped with a 24 channel system in case there is an event at Alter Bauhof in the evening
– a maker space in walking distance (3d printing, laser cutting, a metal, wood and electronics workshop) - a letter of invitation if this is demanded by any funding agency
- possibility for an artist talk at the University of Arts Linz
- possibility for a concert at Alter Bauhof to test any outcome of the residency
What we need from you:
- a lump sum of € 50,00 per day to cover running costs of the venue (heating, ventilation, electricity, insurance, support, equipment etc.)
- taking care of your own travel / expenses
- a proposal of what you want to do including a short CV
- a suggested timeframe ranging from single days to 2 weeks
After your submission we need some time to discuss your proposal and to check the availability of our facilities. In case of a positive response, we would discuss further details with you.
