Für die vierte Ausgabe des OTTOsonics Festivals im neu renovierten Alten Bauhof entfaltet sich das volle Spektrum immersiver Live-Musik. Das Programm verbindet traditionelle, instrumentale und elektroakustische Musik mit nationalen und internationalen Klangkulturen. In diesem Jahr erweitern wir die Idee der Immersion um eine weitere Dimension: Ein speziell für gehörlose und schwerhörige Menschen konzipierter Programmpunkt lenkt die Aufmerksamkeit auf die physische Wahrnehmung von Klang und eröffnet neue Zugänge zu Musik als ganzkörperliche Erfahrung.

For the fourth edition of the OTTOsonics Festival, held in the newly renovated Alter Bauhof, we invite everyone to experience the full spectrum of immersive live performances. Bridging tradition and innovation, the program spans instrumental and electroacoustic music, featuring pioneering works by national and international artists from historical masterpieces to contemporary creations. This year, the festival expands the concept of immersion beyond listening itself, including a performance accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences and emphasizing the profoundly physical nature of sound as a sensory experience that resonates throughout the body.
